Moxy NYC East Village is located in the heart of New York City’s East Village, the Lower Manhattan neighborhood where rock ‘n’ roll, outsider art, LGBTQ+ activism and generations of immigrants all merged to give birth to American counterculture. For the modern traveler who wants it all, our lifestyle hotel on East 11th Street near Gramercy Park packs in all the bells and whistles with none of the price tag. Conceived by Rockwell Group as a vertical timeline, each floor of the hotel draws inspiration from a different era in East Village history—from the earliest settlers to the punk era to today—while celebrating the neighborhood’s spirit. Four new eating and drinking venues overseen by Tao Group include Cathédrale, a French-Mediterranean restaurant from Chef Jason Hall, underground lounge Little Sister, the all-day Alphabet Bar & Café in the lobby, and a rooftop bar opening in Spring 2021.
